All prices are in Australian dollars. Software billed in US dollars is converted at US$1 = A$1.43 (0.701 US dollars per A$1, 23 Oct 2026), so what you pay moves with the exchange rate. Each stack total is the cheapest paid plan needed, billed monthly, before GST and card fees. Converted prices are estimates and may not be 100% accurate. Prices checked 23 Oct 2026.

How this stack works

Who it is for. A solo developer shipping a software product who wants to pay for tools only as users arrive.

How the pieces fit

  1. 1Keep the code in GitHub and deploy it on every push with Vercel.
  2. 2Use Supabase for the database and sign-in.
  3. 3Take payments with Stripe and send receipts and sign-in links with Resend.
  4. 4Add PostHog to see what people use and Sentry to learn when something breaks.

What to buy first

Everything has a free plan, so pay for Vercel Pro when you charge customers and Supabase Pro before you launch.

Cheaper swaps

Cloudflare Pages can replace Vercel for static front ends. Paddle can replace Stripe if you want a merchant of record to handle sales tax.

Australian notes

Stripe in Australia charges 1.65% + A$0.30 on domestic cards, with no monthly fee. You must register for GST once turnover reaches A$75,000 a year. Overseas software invoices often include Australian GST, so keep them for your BAS. Pick accounting software that produces BAS-ready reports so your quarterly lodgement is a review, not a rebuild.
